Itinerary

Arrive in Ahmedabad, the largest city of Gujarat. Gujrat has historical importance, as it has been a site of several significant events. It was once part of the ancient region of Gandhara and has witnessed various rulers, including the Maurya and Kushans, along with influences from Persian and Mughal empires.

Overnight in Ahmedabad. Meal: None

Morning after breakfast visit Sabarmati Ashram is one of the most significant historical sites in India, located on the banks of the Sabarmati River. Later visit Sidi Saiyyed Mosque,mosque reflects a blend of Islamic architectural styles with elements of Hindu and Jain influences. The structure has an open courtyard, a central prayer hall, and several domed roofs. The Adalaj Stepwell (also known as Adalaj Vav) is an architectural marvel located in Adalaj,this stepwell is a unique example of traditional Indian water management systems and is one of the most famous and well-preserved stepwells in Gujarat.

Bhadra Fort is one of the most iconic landmarks built in the 15th century, it stands as a symbol of the city’s rich history, architectural heritage, and cultural significance. The fort is located in the heart of Ahmedabad’s old city, near the Manek Chowk area.Jama Mosque, example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, blending Islamic, Persian, and Indian architectural elements. The mosque is built using yellow sandstone, and its design features a large central courtyard, arched entrances, and intricate carvings. Back to hotel.

After breakfast drive to Rani Ki Vav (Queen’s Stepwell) in Patan, it is one of the most famous and historically significant stepwells in India. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this stepwell is renowned for its stunning architecture, intricate carvings, and cultural importance.Visit Modhera to explore the Sun Temple, a stunning example of ancient Indian architecture.The Sun Temple dates back to the 11th century, built during the reign of Raja Bhimdev I of the Solanki dynasty. This temple is not just an architectural marvel but also holds a deep spiritual importance as it is designed to align with the sun’s movements.Return to Ahmedabad in the evening.

It is a great example of the fusion of Mughal and Kutchi architectural styles.Kutch Museum, showcasing a wide range of artifacts, historical objects, and ethnographic displays that reflect the diverse cultural, social, and artistic traditions of the area.

Prag Mahal is another iconic and historic landmark in Bhuj,the palace was designed by the British architect, William Swinton Jacob, who is also credited with designing other famous buildings in India. Prag Mahal’s design combines European Gothic with traditional Indian and Mughal elements, making it unique in its architecture.

The Rann of Kutch is deeply connected to the culture and traditions of Gujarat. It is known for the Rann Utsav, The Kutch Wild Ass Sanctuary is located in the Little Rann of Kutch, which is one of the key wildlife conservation areas. It is home to the endangered Indian Wild Ass (Khur), as well as several other species of birds and animals.

Kalo Dungar, the highest point in Kutch, offering panoramic views of the Rann of Kutch.Kalo Dungar is part of the Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary and is a popular tourist destination, offering panoramic views of the surrounding desert landscape, the Rann of Kutch, and the vibrant culture of the region.

After breakfast, drive to Rajkot. On arrival check in hotel and relax.Explore Wilson Hill A scenic hill offering panoramic views of Rajkot city.Mahatma Gandhi Museum, it includes exhibits about his early life, struggles for independence, and his contributions to India’s freedom movement.Jubilee Garden A peaceful park ideal for a leisurely stroll, complete with beautiful gardens, a clock tower.

Rotary Dolls Museum the most unique collections of dolls from around the world. This museum showcases over 1,400 dolls dressed in traditional costumes from different countries, offering a cultural journey through the world’s diversity.

Overnight in Rajkot. Meal: Breakfast 

An early morning drive to Sasan Gir, home to the renowned Gir National Park, is an adventure like no other. This park is the only place in the world where the endangered Asiatic lions can be found in the wild. The thrill of a jungle safari awaits, offering a chance to explore the park’s diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, and a variety of bird species. For a more controlled but equally exciting wildlife experience, a visit to Devaliya Safari Park is highly recommended. This fenced-off area provides a chance to witness the majestic lions and other animals in a more accessible, yet immersive, setting.

Overnight in Sasan Gir. Meal: Breakfast 

After breakfast check out and transfer to Kevadia by road, on arrival check in and relax.

Kevadia is situated near the Sardar Sarovar Dam on the Narmada River and is a major tourist destination, especially due to the Statue of Unity. It is most famous for being the site of the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue, which honors Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, an Indian independence leader and the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India.In addition to the statue, the area is known for its beautiful natural surroundings, including hills, rivers, and forests, offering various recreational and sightseeing opportunities.

Overnight in Kevadia. Meal: Breakfast 

The Statue of Unity stands as the main attraction, towering over the landscape as the world’s tallest statue. Nearby, the Valley of Flowers offers beautiful gardens with a diverse range of flora. The Sardar Patel Zoological Park, home to a variety of animals including Asiatic lions, adds an element of wildlife exploration. The Sardar Patel Museum provides insight into the life and contributions of the legendary leader. For relaxation, the Narmada River Front offers a peaceful riverside retreat. Nature and wildlife enthusiasts can explore the Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, while the Light and Sound Show provides a cultural experience, narrating the inspiring story of Sardar Patel’s journey and his monumental impact.
