Community Kitchen

Morning after breakfast visit ancient alleyways and monuments of Old Delhi to regal New Delhi. Today, we begin our exploration of this historic city, of over fifteen million people, with a drive to the Red Fort. View this monumental 400-year-old landmark from outside – a great opportunity for a photo. Then embark on a bicycle rickshaw ride through colourful Chandni Chowk – one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi and then to Delhi’s famous spice market, Khari Baoli, here we will buy some grocery like rice, lentils & spices which to be distributed to your Rickshaw drivers.

Visit Great Mosque of Delhi, the Jama Masjid, said to be the largest mosque in India. Later visit Raj Ghat is a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. It is the site where Gandhi was cremated after his assassination in 1948. The memorial features a black marble platform with an eternal flame, symbolizing his life and teachings.

Later Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwaras, Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is a remarkable tradition rooted in the Sikh principle of selfless service and equality. Every day, thousands of visitors from all walks of life are welcomed to share a free, wholesome vegetarian meal regardless of caste, creed, religion, or social status. The langar embodies the spirit of community and humility, where everyone sits together on the floor as equals to partake in simple, nutritious food prepared and served by volunteers. This practice not only nourishes the body but also fosters unity, compassion, and the Sikh ideal of seva (selfless service). Gurdwara Bangla Sahib’s langar is open 24/7, demonstrating the Sikh commitment to hospitality and social welfare. You will participate in the langar by volunteering your time in activities such as preparing and serving meals. Contributions of monetary donations are also greatly appreciated to support this noble cause.

Drive past Rajpath – home to India’s government buildings and the President’s residence, all featuring graceful Lutyen’s architecture which characterizes New Delhi, and India Gate, a memorial to Indian soldiers who gave their lives during World War One. Taj Mahal

Morning after breakfast transfer to Agra via Yamuna express way one of the fastest routes connecting Delhi and Agra. On arrival check-in hotel & relax.

Later visit Agra’s imposing Fort on the banks of the holy Yamuna River. it was also home to Emperor Shah Jahan, who built the Taj Mahal and was later imprisoned here by his son.

School Project & Tree Plantation

Rise early to see the magnificent Taj Maha l at dawn. Commenced by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1631 and completed in 1653, it was dedicated to his beloved second wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who tragically died in childbirth. Take time to marvel at the Taj’s unique and stunning symmetry, and the exquisite pearly marble, bathed in the pink light of dawn. Return to your hotel for a late breakfast.

We will also have some time to visit Cottage industries & Marble factories and show our support for local artisans.

ZARDOZI workshop (2 hrs) – Preserving Heritage, Empowering lives

Zardozi, also known as zar-douzi or zarduzi, is a type of elaborate metal embroidery originating in Persia and now prevalent in Iran, India, and Central Asia. It’s characterized by the use of gold and silver embellishments, often including flat metal wires, spangles, coiled wires, and twisted wires, along with beads, pearls, and precious stones. The term “Zardozi” itself comes from the Persian words “zar” (gold) and “dozi” (sewing), literally translating to “gold embroidery”.

An initiative Supporting local artisans through a Zardozi workshop can help preserve traditional craft, create economic opportunities, and foster cultural appreciation.

Lunch at Dasaprakash – A South Indian Thali Treat.

As part of our school project, will organise a tree plantation drive to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. Students and teachers’ participation enthusiastically, planting saplings in and around the school campus. This activity will not only help to beautify the surroundings but also tell us the importance of trees in fighting pollution and preserving nature. This rewarding experience encourages us to take responsibility for a greener future.

Pink City of Rajasthan

Morning after breakfast transfer to Jaipur, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri magnificent palace built by Akbar on mountains of Sikri and named it “Fatehpur Sikri”. Lunch (included) at Heritage hotel Laxmi Vilas Palace. Visit this castle which highlights lifestyle of maharaja and family staying and you enjoy lunch like a maharaja in this palace, Continue to Jaipur. CHRSW: Centre for Human Rights and Social Welfare

Begin today by driving by admire the striking façade of the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds, designed for the royal ladies to watch the processions and daily life of the city without being seen themselves – a result of the strict “purdah” which was observed until the 20th century. The impressive Amber Fort, around twenty minutes’ drive outside Jaipur itself, is our main site for the morning This imposing fort is situated atop a mountain in the midst of stark and dramatic landscape and dates back to 1592. You will drive up to the fort by jeep and explore the various buildings. Marvel at the beautifully painted traditional Mughal doorways and the remarkable Sheesh Mahal with its thousands of mirrored tiles.

Walk down from the fort and return to downtown Jaipur to explore shops for Rajasthani handicrafts in Jaipur’s where jewellery, fabrics, lamps, bangles, bags are world famous. After lunch (included) at local restaurant, enjoy a visit to City Palace before return to your hotel.

The Centre for Human Rights and Social Welfare (CHRSW), established in 1976 in Jaipur, is a secular, non-profit NGO committed to uplifting marginalized communities including the rural poor, Dalits, Muslims, slum dwellers and the homeless. Through grassroots development, advocacy, and welfare initiatives, CHRSW promotes justice, equity, peace, and communal harmony. Its work spans education, health, women’s empowerment, youth engagement, sanitation and livelihoods. Notable efforts include support for homeless single women and awareness on reproductive health and HIV/AIDS. The organization also fosters interfaith unity and was honored with the National Communal Harmony Award in 2009. CHRSW play a key role in disaster relief. As part of visit, guests are introduced to the organisation’s mission, core values and ongoing initiatives aimed at supporting underserved communities. They gain a deeper understanding of the social challenges being addressed and are invited to actively participate in a structured engagement program. Earlier in the day, guests procure essential supplies—such as hygiene kits, food items, or other necessities—for donation. In addition, they purchase fresh ingredients from local markets to prepare nutritious lunch packages, supporting both the local economy and the organisation’s outreach efforts. Under the guidance of the organisation’s team, guests assist in preparing the meals in a hygienic and coordinated manner. These packages are then formally donated for distribution to individuals experiencing homelessness. Guests also take part in the distribution process, allowing for direct interaction with the beneficiaries and fostering empathy and awareness. Guests and recipients share the meal together, promoting a sense of dignity, inclusion, and human connection. Throughout the experience, participants are supported by staff to ensure their involvement is respectful, impactful, and aligned with the organisation’s values. The visit is designed not only to provide immediate assistance but also to offer a meaningful and transformative experience for all involved.

Morning after breakfast check-out from hotel and transfer to Bikaner, a large fortified town in the middle of the Thar Desert, the city is ‘guarded’ by a huge fortress. on arrival check-in hotel & relax.

Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs)

Enjoy the Sightseeing of Bikaner is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palace, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal Temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings and births were once celebrated in Junagarh Fort, Anup Mahal, Gaj Mandir, Sheesh Mahal and Sadual Museum. Along the way back to the hotel, we will pick up some supplies to gift to the women’s organisation later in the day (we will look for a sewing kit and arts & craft supplies). Back to hotel & relax.

Later contact to Self-Help Groups (SHGs), mostly made up of women, help promote financial independence and social change. They encourage saving, give small loans, and teach useful skills like tailoring, dairy farming, and making handicrafts. SHGs also raise awareness about important issues like health, education, women’s rights, and domestic violence.

These groups help women earn income, improve their lives and become more confident. Visitors often meet with SHGs to share ideas, give business advice and support their work. We will gift the organization the supplies we purchased before and you may purchase handmade products like crafts, Local artwork, spices, camel leather goods, traditional clothing etc.  And of course, sharing the women’s stories online and the support of the SHGs will bring more attention and support to their efforts, so please feel free to do so.

Vatsalyapuram – Seva Sansthan

Morning breakfast drive to Jodhpur, upon arrival check-in hotel & relax.

Later, learn about Vatsalyapuram Seva Sansthan, A respected charitable organization dedicated to providing shelter, education and holistic care for orphaned and underprivileged children across India. In addition to child welfare initiatives, the organization also runs community support programs such as free meal services for children and elderly to support their work. You will have the opportunity to meet with the staff, volunteers and some of the children at the designated location and participate in a culinary workshop, where you learn to prepare traditional Indian dishes and host a special dinner, welcoming children, staff members and volunteers from the Sansthan. With the assistance of local community members, they prepare meals or snacks. Creating a meaningful and interactive experience. The visit concludes with a heartwarming shared dinner, celebrating culture, compassion and community through traditional cuisine.

Blue City of Rajasthan

Morning visit imposing Meherangarh Fort, surely one of India’s most impressive forts and a dominating feature of the city. The fort ramparts offer stunning views of the blue city below, out to Umaid Bhawan Palace where the royal family reside to this day, walk from the

fort down to the city’s colorful bazaar, famed for its colorful bangles and jutis, the stylish leather slippers favored by locals and visitors alike. You may also want to try the special Jodhpur lassi poured at a tiny but famous shack of a café near the clock tower. Later visit Jaswant Thada, it was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh for his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and serves as the cremation ground for the royal Rajput family of Marwar.

A Village Tour

Morning after breakfast drive to Narlai, on arrival check-in hotel. Later walking tour in the village of Narlai. A village tour in Narlai offers a glimpse into the heart of traditional Rajasthani life. As you walk through the narrow, dusty lanes, you’ll see mud and stone houses with intricate doorways and courtyards where families gather.

The villagers, dressed in colourful turbans, sarees, and traditional attire, warmly greet visitors with smiles and folded hands.

Daily life moves at a peaceful pace—women fetch water from wells, children play freely, and elders sit under neem trees sharing stories. Farming is the main occupation, with fields of mustard, wheat, and millet stretching across the landscape. Bullock carts and tractors are common sights, and cattle rearing is a key part of rural livelihood. Food is simple yet flavourful—freshly baked rotis, spicy lentils, and locally grown vegetables cooked over wood fires. A visit to a village like Narlai not only showcases age-old customs and self-sufficient living but also creates a deep appreciation for India’s rural heritage and hospitality.

Enjoy a cup of hot tea/coffee with crispy samosa together with some local people under the shade of trees in a traditional village chaupal (village meeting). Connect with locals in a relaxed, friendly setting filled with conversation and laughter. This experience offers an authentic glimpse into the warmth and simplicity of rural life.

City of Lakes

Early morning guided jeep safaris through the wilds of the Aravalli region. Led by expert naturalists and trackers, these safaris offer a high chance of spotting leopards—alongside jackals, hyenas, antelopes, mongoose, monkeys, and over 130 species of birds.

Depart Narlai this morning and drive through scenic southern Rajasthan to Udaipur, on arrival check in and relax.

This morning after breakfast visit City Palace – The Palace has been added to over the years by various Maharana’s, the mighty rulers of Udaipur, with residential and military sectors and sweeping views over the town and Lake Pichola. also visit Jagdish Temple is a large Hindu temple in the middle of Udaipur. enjoy afternoon cruise/boat ride (water levels permitting) on Lake Pichola past the fairy tale Lake Palace – the perfect end to your Rajasthan exploration. also visit here Jag Mandir is a palace built on an island in the Lake Pichola. It is also called the “Lake Garden Palace”. The palace is located in Udaipur city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Its construction is credited to three Maharana’s of the Sisodia Rajput’s of Mewar kingdom.

Cooking Indian Cuisine with traditional music – We are hosting a special culinary evening featuring authentic Indian cuisine prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The event will celebrate the vibrant flavors of India while supporting locals and artisans. To enhance the experience, inviting local musical artists to perform, creating a warm and engaging cultural atmosphere. you will enjoy a communal meal, fostering connection through food, music and conversation.
