This morning proceeds with local sightseeingaround Cochin“The Queen of Arabian Sea”. Sightseeing attractions in Cochin include Dutch Palace, a fine example of Kerala’s unique architectural style, blending Indian and European influences. Jewish Synagogue, also known as the Paradesi Synagogueis one of the oldest active synagogues in the Commonwealth and a significant landmark. Jewish Street, a charming and vibrant lane that offers a glimpse into the city’s rich Jewish heritage. This street is lined with antique shops, spice markets, and quaint cafes, making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists. St. Francis Church,the oldest European churches in India, dating back to 1503. Originally built by the Portuguese, it has a rich history that reflects the colonial influences in the region. Chinese Fishing Nets,known locally as “Cheenavala,” are a striking and iconic feature of Kochi’s coastline.Later proceed to Munnar – Munnar is well known for its lush green hills and tea plantations.

After breakfast, visit Anayirangal Dam holds the waters of the Panniyar River and the lake borders the Tata Tea Plantations and forests, Periyakanal Tea Factory is located in the eponymous village and one of the oldest tea factories in Munnar. The path takes you through lush green tea plantations amidst the rolling hills, Lock Heart Gap, this point is named due to the formation of a locked heart in the gap between two mountains visible from up here. Home to the Lockhart Tea Factory, Kanan Devan Tea Museum is owned by the Tata Group and often called the Tata Tea Museum. There are 6 rooms inside this museum and they showcase the techniques of local tea production. Rajamalai National Park or Eravikulam National Park is home to the highest peak in the Western Ghats – Anamudi Peak, which stands tall at the height of 2,695 meters.

Today we proceed to Periyar. Upon arrival, we have free time for shopping at Kumily Spice Village. Later we visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary – one of the popular national parks in India and famous as an elephant and tiger reserve. It is home to around 35 species of mammals like tiger, Indian elephant, gaur, sambar, wild pig, Indian giant squirrel, jungle cat, etc. We explore this wildlife sanctuary by sailing in the Periyar Lake. In the evening we enjoy Kalaripayattushow- an Indian martial art. Further we also enjoy Kathakali show – oldest performing arts in Indiadeeply rooted in storytelling of Hindu epics.

Today we proceed to Alleppey – known as ‘the Venice of the East’. Today we experience a wonderful stay on Kerala Houseboats and admire the scenic sites of lush paddy fields and coconut trees as we sail.

Today we visit Athirappily waterfall- Kerala’s most famous and largest waterfall at over 80 ft high. The sight of the water crashing onto the ground leaves you with a sense of wonder at the sheer power and magnificence of nature. We then proceed to Guruvayur – one of the most sacred and important pilgrim towns in India. Upon arrival we visit Guruvayur Temple – a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu god Guruvayurappan and one of the most important places of worship for Hindus.

Today we leave for Wayanad – known for its soothing temperature all around the year is a ultimate destination to escape the scorching sun. Upon arrival we visit the Tea plantation – a picturesque place with mist-clad hills and crystal-clear mountain streams. Further we enjoy Zipline above the pristine tea gardens – feel like a bird, with no walls to constrain you and restrict your views, enjoy the stunning panorama. In the evening enjoy boating at Pookode Lake.

Wayanad offers a blend of adventure, natural beauty, and cultural experiences, making it a perfect destination for nature lovers and explorers alike. Today morning we enjoy a safari at Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary (Muthanga). Later we visit Eddkal Caves – are popular for its pre-historic rock engravings, Wayanad Heritage Museum – one of the largest archaeological museums.back to hotel & relax.

Today we proceed to Bekal – a very peaceful and picturesque town. En route we visit Peralassery Sri Subramanya Temple – is one of the beautiful holy shrines with a rectangular pond that has an impressive architecture with countless steps leading into the pool from all the four sides.

Today morning we visit Bekal Fort- one of the largest and most preserved forts in Kerala. Nestled in the lap of nature, Bekal Fort is a historic fort surrounded by a beautiful beach offering an enchanting view of Arabian Sea. Later we proceed to Nileshwar for a backwater experience, embark on a half day backwater cruise. Experience the simple joys of life, get enhanced by the pleasant harmony of singing birds, green stretches of paddy fields with long rows of swaying coconut palm trees, time seems to stand still while drifting along. We have a stopover at Edayilakkad, popularly known as Monkey Island. back to hotel & relax.
