Welcome to India! Arrive at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. You are met by Travellama representative with traditional and sacred marigold flower garland. Transfer to hotel for check-in and relax.

We start with the Mughals who ruled a large part of the subcontinent for more than 350 years. Delhi being the imperial capital lived up to its image of the most illustrious town of medieval India. Today Delhi’s walled city is known as Old Delhi. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan shifted the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi. Possessing remarkable talent in architecture he brought about Delhi’s glorious renaissance. Trade flourished and continues to do so… We have an exciting way for you to discover these maze-like lanes. Take an exhilarating cycle rickshaw ride that passes through the colourful Kinari bazaar. This experience ends at the majestic Jama Masjid, 18th Century Mosque known for its restrain in architecture.

Drive past the Imperial part of the city designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens for the British in the 1920s. Continue along the main avenue, the impressive Rajpath to the World War I memorial arch, the India Gate and past the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President’s residence and the Parliament Buildings.

At Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, a historic Sikh shrine in central Delhi, everybody is welcome to a meal, and nearly everybody comes. The ‘langar,’ or free kitchen, operated by a Sikh shrine in Delhi dishes out an astonishing 10,000 meals a day. Anyone can volunteer at a Gurdwara, and although the Bangla Sahib Gurdwara is the largest, you’ll find smaller versions in most Delhi neighbourhoods. Everyone is welcome to come to Bangla Sahib Gurdwara and be part of Vaṇḍ Chakkō, the Sikh uplifting concept that translates to ‘share and consume together’.

Return to hotel. In the evening be ready for a feast, a BBQ dinner at the local restaurant.

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer in a private transportation and drive to Agra by road via Yamuna Express way.  Approximately 210 kms / 04 hours’ drive. Upon arrival Check-in & relax. In the evening, let’s go out and enjoy some dinner at Rooftop restaurant.

Travellama Experience –Welcome Dinner

At sunrise the long-awaited visit to the Taj Mahal. Bathed in soft light of the morning sun this monument to eternal love is truly a sight to behold. An immense mausoleum of white marble, built in Agra between 1631 and 1648 by order of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favourite wife, the Taj Mahal is the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage. Return to hotel for breakfast.

We will also have some time to visit Cottage industries & Marble factories and show our support for local artisans

After Lunch visit Agra fort. An integral part of Indian history. Each place was ruled from the fort in the area and this is where the imperial court was set up. The fort in Agra was built by the emperor Akbar. This is a fine example of the Hindu elements finding their way into Islamic style of architecture. The fort is rather well known for the melancholic tale of emperor Shah Jahan who was imprisoned here by his son in an apartment that overlooked the Taj Mahal.

After breakfast, drive to the great site of Fatehpur Sikriabout 40 minutes away.

Make the most of the day. Once you arrive, you can marvel at the stunning Buland Darwaza and the intricate architecture of the Jama Masjid. Don’t miss the Tomb of Salim Chishti, a beautiful Sufi shrine.

Later a delightful lunch at Laxmi Vilas Palaceregion’s royal heritage.

Further drive to Jaipur. Once you arrive in Jaipur, you’ll get transferred to your hotel for check-in. If you want, you can enjoy a leisurely walk around.

Begin today by driving by admire the striking façade of the Hawa Mahal, the Palace of the Winds, designed for the royal ladies to watch the processions and daily life of the city without being seen themselves – a result of the strict “purdah” which was observed until the 20th century. The impressive Amber Fort, around twenty minutes’ drive outside Jaipur itself, is our main site for the morning This imposing fort is situated atop a mountain in the midst of stark and dramatic landscape and dates back to 1592. You will drive up to the fort by jeep (elephant ride is also available at no extra cost) and explore the various buildings, here visit Panna Meena ka Kund, Marvel at the beautifully painted traditional Mughal doorways and the remarkable Sheesh Mahal with its thousands of mirrored tiles. Walk down from the fort and return to downtown Jaipur to explore shops for Rajasthani handicrafts in Jaipur’s where jewellery, fabrics, lamps, bangles, bags are world famous. After lunch (included) at local restaurant, enjoy a visit to City Palace & Jantar Mantar.

After breakfast check out and transfer to Danta Ramgarhappx. 2 hrs by road.

Ramgarh Shekhawatiis a town located west of Mandawa.Once you arrive in Ramgarh, you can visit the stunning havelis, admire the intricate frescoes, and enjoy the local culture. Don’t forget to check out Ramgarh Lake and many local temples.This area is famous for its vibrant art and architecture, reflecting the affluent history of the Marwari community.

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer in a private transportation and drive to Didwana.

Didwana is a town in the Nagaur district of Rajasthan, India. It has a rich history and is known for its cultural heritage. The town is located on the banks of the Sukhari River and serves as an important agricultural and trade center in the region.

Didwana features various temples and traditional architecture, reflecting the local Rajasthani culture. The town is also known for its vibrant festivals, especially those related to local deities and harvest celebrations.

Morning after breakfast, we depart for Jodhpur, sometimes called the ‘Blue City’ due to many brightly-painted buildings, traditionally signifying the home of a high caste Brahmin family. Jodhpur is a classic Rajasthani desert outpost dominated by its breathtaking fortress.

Jodhpur is also known as the “Blue City” due to the light blue shade that is common for the majority of the houses found in the Brahampuri area of the Walled City. Tucked away from the popular Clock Tower Bazaar, the Blue City is an unexplored treasure trove of exquisitely carved havelis and unknown Bazaars. Visit numerous shops showcasing traditional clothes like Saris, Safas and Poshaks to the Jewelers and bangle makers

Head for a visit of the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur.

Mehrangarh Fort stands a hundred feet in splendour on a perpendicular cliff, four hundred feet above the sky line of Jodhpur. Burnished red sand stone, imposing, invincible and yet with a strange haunting beauty that beckons. Much has been written about the Citadel of the Sun, for truly, it is one of the most impressive in all Rajasthan. So colossal are its proportions that Rudyard Kipling called it “the work of giants”. Today, it is acknowledged as one of the best-preserved forts in India.

After this you would visit Jaswant Thada Memorial Cenotaphs of the Royal Family.

Depart Jodhpur this morning for your drive through to Bera. Bera, located in the Pali district of Rajasthan, is a picturesque village renowned for its stunning natural beauty and rich wildlife. The village is surrounded by hills, lakes, and lush greenery, providing a serene backdrop for nature lovers and photographers. Morning drive to Kumbhalgarh midday you will reach the celebrated temples of Ranakpur. These intricately-carved temples are one of the major pilgrimage sites for devotees of the Jain faith, one of India’s ancient religions. The main temple is around 600 years old and features nearly 1500 marble supporting pillars, all elaborately decorated.

Further continue to Kumbhalgarh. It is renowned for its majestic fort, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 15th century by Maharana Kumbha, the fort is famous for its massive walls, often referred to as the second longest continuous wall after the Great Wall of China. The fort complex features stunning palaces, temples, and gardens, showcasing exquisite Rajput architecture and intricate carvings.

Surrounded by the Aravalli Range, Kumbhalgarh offers breathtaking views and is a popular destination for trekking and exploring nature. Royal Lakes and Palaces of Rajasthan

Visit the Magnificent City Palace, an enormous edifice that stands on a hill on the banks of Lake Pichola, surrounded by crenulated walls. Built in 1567, it is composed of 4 major palaces and several minor palaces that form a single stunning façade.

Walk through the bustling colourful by-lanes of Rajasthani Bazaar with rich folk art and craft. Jostle with the camels and the rickshaws and visit the gentle holy temples in every crook and corner.

Also visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari. Maharana Sangram Singh built this garden for his daughter and the ladies of the Queen’s court. It is said he wished to recreate the monsoon for his daughter, who had been ill for a long period.

At sundown, take a cruise around Lake Pichola on an exclusive boat. Sit back and watch the lights of the City Palace cast its reflection on the still waters of the lake.
